Custom software development

We design and build business software around your processes: order flows, approvals, stock, documents, planning, reporting. A single system in place of ten spreadsheets, shaped by the people who use it every day.

When standard tools no longer fit

Most companies begin with spreadsheets, email and a handful of ready-made tools. That works until the business grows: the same data gets typed in three places, nobody knows which file is the latest, and every report takes half a day to put together.

Adding one more generic tool rarely solves it, because the problem is not a missing feature. Your process is specific and the software is not. Custom software starts from the process and builds the tools around it.

What we build

  • Internal management systems

Orders, requests, approvals, planning and stock in a single place, following the rules your company already uses.

  • Client and partner portals

Secure areas where customers or suppliers check status, upload documents and send requests without phoning or emailing.

  • Workflow and approval engines

Multi-step processes with roles, deadlines, reminders and a complete history of who did what.

  • Document generation

Contracts, offers, delivery notes and reports produced automatically from your data, in the right language and format.

  • Replacements for critical spreadsheets

Shared, validated versions of the files your business relies on, with permissions.

  • Modernisation of legacy systems

Gradual replacement of outdated software without interrupting daily operations.

How the pieces connect

Typical features

Users and access

  • Roles and permissions by department
  • Single sign-on with Microsoft or Google accounts
  • Activity log for every change

Work and data

  • Configurable statuses and workflows
  • Search, filters and saved views
  • Import and export to Excel and CSV
  • File attachments with versions

Communication

  • Email and in-app notifications
  • Comments and mentions on records
  • Automatic deadline reminders

Typical scenario

An example of the type of project we build. It does not describe a specific client.

Situation

A distribution company handles orders in shared spreadsheets. Sales, warehouse and accounting each keep a separate copy, and mistakes creep in at every hand-off.

What we build

A web system where each order is entered once and moves through clear statuses: confirmed, picked, shipped, invoiced. Every team sees only its own step, and the export for accounting is produced automatically.

Result

A single source of truth, fewer manual corrections, and order status visible to everyone without having to ask.

How the project unfolds

  1. Process mapping

We sit down with the people doing the work and map the current process, exceptions included.

  2. Scope and prototype

A clickable prototype of the main screens, so you can see the system before it exists.

  3. Iterative build

Working software every two weeks, starting with the part that saves the most time.

  4. Data migration

We transfer your existing data from spreadsheets or old systems, cleaned and checked.

  5. Rollout and training

Launch team by team or site by site, with training and support during the first weeks.

What you get

  • Source code and the rights to it
  • Technical and user documentation
  • System deployed on your infrastructure or ours
  • Admin access and accounts
  • Training for your team
  • A support plan, if you want one

Technologies we use

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Docker
  • Automated tests

Questions about this service

How long does a custom system take?

A focused first version usually needs a few months. We prefer to launch a useful core early and then extend it, instead of building everything in one go.

Can it work with our accounting software?

In most cases, yes. We connect through the accounting system's API or through a regular file exchange, depending on what it supports.

What happens to our current data?

We migrate it. Removing duplicates and checking the data before it enters the new system is part of the project.

Can we change requirements during the project?

Yes. That is exactly why we work in two-week cycles. Changes are agreed openly, and we show their impact on time and budget before making them.
